These officers will serve till January 2014
1.Critiques would be the first order of business at each meeting.
2. We will consider breaking into smaller groups (five or six people) for critiques.
3. We will have a discussion/program about critiquing: what the writer should bring for critique, what he or she expects from the critique, how each listener should participate.
4. Members present programs to writers when time allows.
The club has twenty-plus active members, writing magazine articles, books, historical references, novels, short stories, screenplays, and poetry for readers of all ages. It is an opportunity to learn about upcoming writing contests and events of interest.
Our organization is dedicated to all genres of writing and all levels of experience are
represented. The group meets once a month and gives members a chance to have a short
piece of work critiqued. No membership dues are charged, although donations are
accepted to pay for expenses such as maintaining the website.
Everyone is welcome to attend, no matter what genre you’re working in. Whether new to writing or a published author, there’s a very good chance that you’ll meet someone writing in the same field. If you’re a writer visiting the Twin Lakes area, drop in for a meeting.
Please come and be inspired!
