and M.S. degrees in Geology. He was with the U.S. Geological Survey
for 30 years-living and working in 5 states. Since his retirement he has
been a consultant, expert witness, and college instructor.

California one year ago. I attended college at the University of Colorado where I received
a Bachelor's Degree and later a Master from University of Michigan. My career was in the
auto industry 27 years with General Motors, 8 years with Lee Iacocca marketing light
electric-powered vehicles. I hope to develop and improve my own creative writing skills.

retirement writing became a new hobby. She has written several children's books for her
grandchildren and her story Flashes From A Hot Mama, was published by Mozart Press
in the anthology A Shaker of Margaritas: Hot Flash Mama. Janice is a member of Ozark

wonderful experience of working as a medical bush pilot in Tanzania East Africa.
In school she won a poetry contest from General Mills, and this sparked an interest in
writing. She is working on a book about her life and work in Africa. Sharon also has an
interest in the arts and hopes to incorporate her art with her writing.

Marian moved to Marion County, AR, in 2003. Ending her work life as a corporate paralibrarian with a research and evaluation company, she now makes pottery.
